ANAK NG KALESA is a coffee table book is an inspirational and motivational book. It is a compiled collection of chosen facebook statuses of an actor, singer and writer Rommel Luna. 

Be inspired and motivated through the facebook statuses that has seven chapters and a short story entitled "Isang OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker)" which is a tribute to our new heroes who work and strive hard for their family left here in the Philippines. Also, browse the relaxing and moving visual imagery of the photography by Biboy Ramirez and yours truly. I am very glad to be a part of this book for a cause.

The book is published by the Lunar Saints Production. Part of the proceeds will go to a Non-Governmental Organization/Foundation of Rommel Luna the "Rommel Luna: Talks and Lyrics Youth Supports, Inc.". So that means, if you get to buy a book, you get to help others too!

The Rommel Luna: Talks and Lyrics Youth Supports Inc. is a Non-Governmental Organization committed in conducting inspirational and motivational seminars, talks, concerts and activities for the benefit of the out-of-school-youth and students of schools and universities all over the Philippines.

Inviting all Photographers!

Are you a photographer? An artist with eyes for beauty and creativity; and with a good heart? We are looking for you! Contribute and be part of Rommel Luna’s Coffee Table Book!

This is to invite you to submit your photography works to be part of Rommel Luna’s Coffee Table book to be released on the first week of December for the benefit of a non-profit Organization Rommel Luna: Talks and LyricsSupports Inc. This will be used to conduct more seminars, talks, concerts and activities for the out-of-school-youth and students of schools and universities all over the Philippines.

Rommel M. Luna is an award-winning indie and theater actor, singer, businessman and writer rolled into one. His story is an inspiration to others from being a simple dreamer who went to Manila into a journey of being a very successful businessman today. The Coffee table book wishes to teach, inspire and touch the hearts of the readers, from a selected collection of Facebook statuses about life in general.

Photos should be relevant to the any of the following themes:

FAMILY	LOVE	YOUTH	FRIENDSHIP	WORK
NATURE/LANDSCAPE	PORTRAIT	EMOTIONS	LIFE/DEATH	DAY TO DAY LIFE

Submit your photos to lunarsaintscreatives@gmail.com, on or before November 11, 2012. Shorter side should at least be 2550pixels at 300dpi. Post-processing is allowed but is limited to global adjustments only. Photos should not be altered digitally nor may elements be added or removed. Use of enhancement filters, polarizing, neutral and density filters are allowed. No name or any mark identifying the photographer shall be included in the photo itself, you will be duly credited and acknowledged on your photo/s.

Photographers may submit up to 10 photos each. The Creative Department of the Lunar Saints Production shall review and select which photos will be part of the Coffee Table Book and will be published.

2011 WILL BE MY FIRST YEAR AFTER COLLEGE GRADUATION, I BOUGHT A GIFT FOR MYSELF, A PLANNER/JOURNAL (THIS JOURNAL WILL ACTUALLY CHANGE SOMEONE'S LIFE 2011) TO DOCUMENT WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN ON MY FIRST YEAR BEING A COLLEGE GRADUATE AND A PROFESSIONAL!

THEN, I MYSELF WAS REALLY SURPRISED OF WHAT IT HAS BECOME, A DOODLE JOURNAL! EVERY DAY, I LOG WHAT'S INSIDE MY HEAD, DRAW WHAT I WANT TO DRAW, EXPRESS MY EMOTIONS THROUGH PEN AND PAPER. 

AND WHO KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED NEXT, I GOT MY FIRST JOB AS A GRAPHIC ARTIST FROM THE POOL OF CREATIVE PEOPLE BEHIND THIS JOURNAL, AND GOT TO BE ONE OF THE GRAPHIC DESIGNERS FOR THE BLURBS OF THE 2012 ISSUE OF THE JOURNAL and also for the 2013!!!
